Putting it all together:

Now that all of the components are finished, its finally time to put your new monster together!!!

Step 1:

Now it's time to attach the head. After covering the entire surface of the neck with hot glue, place the head on it and get it positioned where you want it. As you can see in the photo above, I also attached two glue sticks that ran the span from the neck to the skull for support.

Tack it in place with a little bit of hot glue. In order to get a more realistic neck shape, wrap the tube in aluminum foil and then apply a generous coating of hot glue to blend the head, neck, and body together.

Step 2:

Now its time to attach the legs and the tail. Take the excess clothes hanger wire that is hanging from your tail and legs and stick it into the foam body. You may want to do all of these at once to ensure that your positioning of each piece is correct. Now remove everything except for a single leg. Begin attaching the limb with a liberal amount of hot glue.

Step 3:

Position the tail and repeat the process. Finally do the same method to attach the final leg. Now that all of the bat appendages have be attached, you should fuse them together using even more hot glue.

Here are some shots of the assembled VLAD hanging. Pretty cool, huh?! Now all that is left is the finishing touches.
